Even Keel Field Blend 2019
Mornington Peninsula, VICSam Coverdale’s Even Keel is all about slowing down and bringing the pleasure and appreciation back to wine. Take a load off with this dry, textural field blend — a vibrant fruit basket of citrus and melon — featuring 92% Cortese alongside splashes of Gewürztraminer, skin-contact Sauvignon Blanc, and Chardonnay, all grown on two vineyards in the volcanic soil of Red Hill.

Fleet Wines Pinot Gris 2020
Red Hill, VICHusband-and-wife team Lisa and Justin Jenkins work with tiny parcels of quality grapes across Victoria to craft wines that snapshot ‘Fleet’-ing moments in time. This pleasantly spicy Gris comes complete with a blush twist, thanks to a little juice-and-grape-skin contact.

Pizzini Verduzzo 2019
King Valley, VICIn the lush emerald green of the King Valley, Australia’s home for Italian varietals, Alfredo and Katrina Pizzini have spent the past 42 years crafting wine that pays homage to their heritage. Taste the Aussie twist on golden Italy with their hand-harvested, richly spicy, seductively tropical Verduzzo — a grape from Friuli-Venezia Giulia whose first written record dates back to 1409.

Serengale Chardonnay 2018
Beechworth, VICThe culmination of an arduous three-year search saw Gayle Taylor and Serena Abbinga settle on the pitch-perfect vineyard site: an immaculate 60 acres in Beechworth, in the embrace of the mighty Victorian Alps. Their 2018 Chardonnay, made with fruit plucked from 17-year-old vines, is a soaring chorus of spiced almond and pear, with Beechworth’s signature slate-fresh minerality.

Tokar Estate Chardonnay 2018
Yarra Valley, VICCraft producer Tokar Estate planted their vineyards and built their winery on land they first had to clear of thistles and snakes. Well worth the danger, as you’ll taste with the first sip of this modern Yarra Valley Chardonnay, made with estate-grown fruit from Coldstream vines.

VIGNERONS SCHMÖLZER AND BROWN Obstgarten T Riesling 2019
King Valley, VICA taste of an up-and-coming cult producer, made from fruit grown in Victoria’s highest-altitude Riesling vineyard. This is a truly special citrus-floral fusion from husband-and-wife winemakers Schmölzer and Brown.
VIGNERONS SCHMÖLZER AND BROWN Obstgarten T Riesling 2019 - From the Croucher Vineyard at Whitlands. 50/50% fermented in tank and barrel. 140 dozen made. It's essentially dry in style though the fruit has both power and punch. This stops you in your tracks; it's not your standard riesling fare. It tastes of grapefruit, lemon, sweet lime and more. The intensity of this, both on the palate and through the finish, is quite something.
