La Rioja, Spain

Located in the southeastern Rioja Oriental, Real Agrado cultivates 100 hectares of vines housed within Aldeanueva, an ancient town founded by shepherds in the 11th century, and Alfaro, nicknamed the ‘City of Storks’.
Crafted to reflect the spirit of the winery’s name — ‘real’ meaning ‘true’ and ‘agrado’ referring to the satisfaction inherent in doing what you love — Real Agrado’s wines highlight Rioja Oriental’s signature Garnacha alongside Tempranillo, the earthy, spicy backbone of all Rioja.

Expect to find

80% La Lobera Garnacha (planted in 1992) and 20% Canterabuey Garnacha (planted in 1975). An uncommon south-dominant expression of Rioja, featuring beautiful structure layered with fresh raspberry, youthful cherry, brambly black fruits, and a dash of cola

Biurko Gorri Rioja Tempranillo 2019, Navarra, Spain

Biurko Gorri Rioja Tempranillo 2019

Navarra, Spain

One of the oldest organic producers in Rioja, Biurko Gorri crafts its wines in Bargota, a charming town home to splendidly rustic architecture and sun-soaked vistas.
In the embrace of the Sierra de Cantabria, the Llorens family tend to 40 hectares of vines, using sustainable agriculture to ensure the voice of northern Rioja resounds clearly through their wines. The result is pure, classic Rioja, crafted entirely from the region's signature Tempranillo.

Expect to find

Classic northern Rioja, crafted exclusively from organically grown Tempranillo. Supple softness, a nose of purple and blue berries, savoury dashes of dried lavender and heather, and a clean palate with bursts of strawberry and nutmeg

Bodegas la Eralta Hacienda El Olmo Crianza 2018, Agoncillo, La Rioja, Spain

Bodegas la Eralta Hacienda El Olmo Crianza 2018

Agoncillo, La Rioja, Spain

Deep in the sun-baked heart of Rioja, Agoncillo hosts Bodegas la Eralta, a family winery founded in 1990 that looks after 360 hectares of vines, used to grow exemplary fruit for wines that encapsulate the essence of Rioja.
Hacienda el Olmo (‘estate of the elm tree’) blends Tempranillo from two ancient hamlets: the warmer hilltop Ausejo and the colder, higher-altitude Laguardia. Marked by clarity and purity, this north-south marriage offers a classic window into Rioja’s celebrated Crianza.
