Created in 1968 by the late Bernard de Nonancourt, Laurent-Perrier’s was one of the first non-vintage rosés on the scene and today stands as the benchmark and an icon in the popular category. An award-winning symbol of innovation, the Cuvée Rosé features 100% Pinot Noir sourced from 10 villages in the Montagne de Reims, land of emerald vineyards and periwinkle skies. One of the only rosé Champagnes to be crafted using the maceration method, the Cuvée Rosé possesses all the daring spirit and trailblazing character of its iconic inventor, further reflecting its groundbreaking origins in the striking shape of its signature bottle, inspired by the French king Henri IV.

The 200-year-old Champagne innovator
In 1939, the then 121-year-old Veuve Laurent-Perrier came under the ownership of Marie-Louise de Nonancourt, a French widow and mother looking to secure a future for her family. While her sons left home to join the French Resistance during World War II, Marie-Louise oversaw the management of the Champagne house.
A larger-than-life personality, Bernard transformed Laurent-Perrier into the global Champagne titan it is today, melding a penchant for innovation and a reverence for tradition to create a signature style marked by sophisticated freshness and skillful finesse. Widely recognised as one of the finest Champagne houses and to this day family-owned and independent, Laurent-Perrier carries on the indomitable spirit of Bernard under the guidance of his daughters, Alexandra and Stéphanie.
